Giulia D’Antoni began her professional studies at La Scala in Milan and had the opportunity to perform in „The Nutcracker“ with the La Scala company. After studying and receiving a scholarship at the Tuscan Ballet, he continued his classical studies in Vienna and in 2012 obtained a diploma from the Vienna State Opera. The following summer he attended summer school at the Boston Ballet School and began a course of study at the Martha Graham School in New York. In 2014 she received a scholarship and after graduating as a Graham dancer, she joined the staff of Graham II. Giulia also holds a Graham Technique teaching diploma and is a certified American Ballet Theater teacher from Pre-Primary to Level 3.
After finishing her studies, Giulia had the opportunity to perform with several American companies and taught in various New York schools including the Martha Graham School, Peridance and the Broadway Dance Center. Returning to Italy, she obtained a diploma in Pilates Matwork and Reformer and a degree in Sports Science, achieving top marks.
He is currently a permanent teacher at the Orsolina 28 school, the M.A.S. of Milan and TAM Training as well as being a part-time teacher at the International School of Milan and holding regular workshops in various dance schools.

Graham technique course: will be dedicated to the study of the fundamental principles of the technique: contraction, release, spiral and shift of the weight. The class will be divided into three parts: floor, standing and across the floor.

Luches Huddleston, jr., born in Washington, DC, received his dance education at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, New York and danced as soloist for Joyce Trisler Dance co. , Elisa Monte Dance Co. and Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane co. From 1991 he has danced as soloist in Germany (Mannheim, Karlsruhe etc.) and Switzerland (Zurich). As a choreographer, his work has received and been nominated for awards in Germany and Canada. Since 2007 he is the house choreographer and manages the extra movement choir for the opera at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, Germany. His choreographic works for opera, dance and musical has been seen in many Theaters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has collected a vast variety of movement experience in training amateurs of all ages, opera singers, actors and professional artist. He works as a huge contributor to the contemporary freelance dance scene in the Baden Württemburg county Germany and continues freelance dance works. With his extensive knowledge of the Lester Horton technique (ie. Alvin Ailey American Dance Center), he gives regular workshops in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition to Horton, he teaches Ballet and a fusion of Ballet and Modern dance techniques. Further more, Luches is a certified Pilates (Body Balance) instructor.

Erin Hunter Jennings always loved music, jumping and flying through air as a child, which drew her to singing, piano, flute, gymnastics, and dancing (most often in the family basement with her two sisters). She continued through college at Bucknell University before returning to her home state of Maryland. After being cast and playing Val in a NY/Baltimore production of A Chorus Line, Erin made her own move to the “Big Apple” where she continued dance studies at studios, NYU and as an ensemble member on scholarship at Steps. Since then, Erin has performed in many dance, theater and film productions in NYC and throughout the US and Europe, performing such roles as Kristine in the tour of A Chorus Line, Graziella in West Side Story at Teatro ala Scala, & Louise in Westchester Broadway’s Carousel. She performed with companies: Pilobolus, and those led by Olsi Gjeci (Sublime) Germaul Barnes (ViewsicEx), Erica Essner, Gaspard Louis & for many years with Caron Eule(CEule Dance) and Shadowbox Theatre. Her choreography, presented on various stages and venues, has been noted in the NYTimes.

Currently, Erin is dancing with the Erick Hawkins Dance Company and co-directs the Hudson Valley based Putnam County Dance project, company in residence at Arts on the Lake in Kent, NY. Movement and its ability to create connection continues to inspire Erin in teaching dance and yoga, in choreography, and contact improvisation. Erin is a member of the Actor’s Equity Association and a graduate of Bucknell (B.A. Psychology) and New York Universities (MA Dance/Ed). Faith Kimberling holds a B.A. in English literature from Bucknell University, graduate credits in Dance Education from SUNY Empire State./92nd StY/Dance Education Lab (DEL), and recently completed Corvino Children’s ballet pedagogy workshops.
She currently dances for Mark Bankin Dance Theatre, Loretta Thomas and Putnam County Dance Project. From 2006-2021 Faith danced with Lori Belilove and the Isadora Duncan Dance company dancing solo and ensemble roles in NYC, internationally, and around the country in addition to teaching company class and lecture demonstration performances about Isadora in public schools.
She also choreographed for, coached and taught the Beliloveables, the children’s performing company of the Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation. Before and concurrently, Faith danced 17 years with White Wave:Young Soon Kim Dance Company, enjoying performances locally and in China, Korea, and Inner Mongolia. Other companies include CEule Dance, Pilobolous creative services, and many regional and New York musical theater productions.

Faith also teaches creative dance to underserved NYC public school kids as a Dance Teaching Artist with Mark DeGarmo Dance and teaches creative dance, Modern/Duncan technique, hiphop, preballet and ballet to ages 3-adult at the YMCA and at Bridge for Dance.

Faith lives in Manhattan with her husband, two daughters and a cute schnoodle dog.

In this Isadora Duncan open level Master class, students will get an introduction to who Isadora was and her style of dance, which is based on simple movements such as walking,running, skipping, and tossing, embracing freedom of movement and expression. A short phrase will be taught and created using Duncan repertory.

Creative ballet 4-8 years:
This Creative ballet class will cultivate basic strength, flexibility and coordination for young dancers in addition to dancing with scarves, our imaginations, and each other.

Vogue Fem

Voguing ist ein Tanzstil aus einer Undergroundkultur, genannt „Ballroom Scene“, welches aus New York aus den 80er Jahren stammt. Diese Kultur entstand, da marginalisierte Gruppen wie POCs, homosexuelle und trans* Menschen die Notwendigkeit darin sahen, einen sicheren Ort für sie und ihresgleichen zu erschaffen, um sich auszudrücken.
In dem Workshop liegt der Fokus auf der Tanzform. Hierbei werden die Grundlagen von „Vogue Fem“, eines der drei Performancekategorien, neben „Oldway“ und „Newway“, vermittelt. Wie der Name schon sagt, sind weibliche Bewegungen und Verkörperung des Femininen das Thema. Neben sauberer Technik und tänzerischem Ausdruck, geht es um selbstbewusstes Auftreten und Spaß am Bewegen.

The workshop will focus on the dance form. It will teach the basics of „Vogue Fem“, one of the three performance categories, alongside „Oldway“ and „Newway“. As the name suggests, the focus is on female movements and the embodiment of the feminine. In addition to clean technique and dance expression, the focus is on self-confidence and having fun while moving.

Runway

Runway, like Voguing, is another category of the ballroom scene. The goal in Runway is to emulate super models and present a stunning walk on the catwalk. The workshop will focus on the essentials, meaning hips and legs placement, pump, arms, body posture, attitude and battle techniques. With the help of these elements one’s task is to find their Runway pesona and serve it on the floor.

Runway ist wie Voguing eine weitere Kategorie der Ballroom-Szene. Das Ziel beim Runway ist es, den Supermodels nachzueifern und einen atemberaubenden Gang auf dem Laufsteg zu präsentieren. Der Workshop konzentriert sich auf das Wesentliche, d. h. auf die Platzierung der Hüften und Beine, “den Pump”, die Arme, die Körperhaltung, die Haltung und den sog. Battle-Techniken. Mit Hilfe dieser Elemente ist es die Aufgabe des Teilnehmers, seine Runway-Pesona zu finden und sie auf dem Floor zu serven.

SA6 Contemporary open class – audition

Johannes Härtl (* 26. Juli 1977 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen) ist ein deutscher Choreograf, Tänzer und Veranstalter mit Arbeitsschwerpunkt München.

Härtl wurde bereits als Student zum internationalen Solotanzwettbewerb Stuttgart-Rotebühlplatz eingeladen. Er tanzte mit renommierten zeitgenössischen Choreografen wie Carlos Cortizo, Jessica Iwanson, Thomas Kopp, Katja Wachter und wurde mit eigenen Choreografien unter anderem zu den Passauer Tanztagen, den Regensburger Tanztagen und zur Sommertanzreihe der Ballettakademie Stockholm eingeladen.

Von der Stadt München wurde er zunächst mit der Debütförderung und schließlich mit Projektfördermitteln ausgestattet. In München debütierte er 2007 mit seiner eigenen Tanzproduktion Ego, fertig, los! im Kulturzentrum i-camp. 2009 wurde er als Nachwuchskünstler mit dem Isadora-Preis der Iwanson-Sixt-Stiftung ausgezeichnet.

Als Veranstalter rief er das Tanzfestival „zwanziginfünf “ ins Leben.

Seit 1. Juli 2018 ist er geschäftsführender Gesellschafter der Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance.
