Enzo Bio english Enzo has been dancing Lindy Hop since 2016. From the very beginning he was passionate about this dance and since then he has been unable to miss almost any social dance in his surroundings. During the lockdown he got to know the dance in a different way and also discovered solo jazz. With some changes in the swing scene through initiatives such as Collectives for Change, Swinging Europe etc. his perspective on the dance scene changed and he is very interested in learning about the history and values of the culture. He also incorporates this into his lessons and passes on his know- how about the culture in the best possible way. In his lessons he creates collective learning spaces to enable improvisation, build communication with his dance partners and express his own personal emotional touch in dance. The Hep Cat Club in Augsburg has been his local home since September 2023 and he continues to develop the swing dance scene there. The most important aspects for him are awareness, cultural appreciation and sustainability Course description: It’s time for some Authentic jazz. We’ll explore the history of the charleston and some authentic Jazz steps by dancing it in different styles. We also want to get a deeper understanding of the Black-American culture of this dance and explore jam-concepts, performative parts, and a lot of improvisation by expressing your own individuality into the dance!
