Luches Huddleston, jr., born in Washington, DC, received his dance education at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, New York and danced as soloist for Joyce Trisler Dance co. , Elisa Monte Dance Co. and Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane co. From 1991 he has danced as soloist in Germany (Mannheim, Karlsruhe etc.) and Switzerland (Zurich). As a choreographer, his work has received and been nominated for awards in Germany and Canada. Since 2007 he is the house choreographer and manages the extra movement choir for the opera at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, Germany. His choreographic works for opera, dance and musical has been seen in many Theaters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has collected a vast variety of movement experience in training amateurs of all ages, opera singers, actors and professional artist. He works as a huge contributor to the contemporary freelance dance scene in the Baden Württemburg county Germany and continues freelance dance works. With his extensive knowledge of the Lester Horton technique (ie. Alvin Ailey American Dance Center), he gives regular workshops in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition to Horton, he teaches Ballet and a fusion of Ballet and Modern dance techniques. Further more, Luches is a certified Pilates (Body Balance) instructor.

Seit 2007 ist er Hauschoreograph und leitet den Extra-Bewegungs-Chor für die Oper am Nationaltheater Mannheim, Deutschland. Seine choreografischen Arbeiten für Oper, Tanz und Musical waren bereits in vielen Theatern in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz zu sehen. Er hat eine große Bandbreite an Bewegungserfahrungen in der Ausbildung von Amateuren aller Altersgruppen, Opernsängern, Schauspielern und professionellen Künstlern gesammelt. Er ist maßgeblich an der zeitgenössischen freien Tanzszene in Baden-Württemberg beteiligt und arbeitet weiterhin freiberuflich als Tänzer. Mit seinem umfangreichen Wissen über die Lester Horton Technik (u.a. Alvin Ailey American Dance Center) gibt er regelmäßig Workshops in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz. A modern dance technique created by Lester Horton. Selatin Kara ist ein preisgekrönter Choreograph.
Nach zwei erfolgreichen Tanzstipendien in Los Angeles startete er seine Karriere als Tänzer und Choreograph.
Als Tänzer tanzte er für internationale Weltstars.
Berühmte Ballett-Akademien und Tanzschulen auf der ganzen Welt schätzen Selatin Kara als Dozenten und Tanzpädagogen.
Heute ist der Mann mit dem außerordentlichen Taktgefühl als Artistic Director und Choreograph für Film, Music Videos,
Fernsehen, Oper und Theater gefragt.
Als Choreograph arbeitete er für das Stuttgarter Ballett (Noverre Gesellschaft), dem Bejart Ballett und der Gauthier Dance
Company. Er choreographierte für die John Cranko Schule – Stuttgart, Ecole Rudra Bejart – Lausanne und an der Akademie
des Tanzes in Mannheim.

Enzo tanzt seit 2016 Lindy Hop. Von Beginn an war er Feuer und Flamme
für diesen Tanz und konnte seitdem so gut wie keinen Social Dance in seiner
Umgebung auslassen. Während des Lockdowns lernte er den Tanz neu
kennen und entdeckte auch Solo Jazz für sich. Mit einigen Veränderungen in
der Swing-Szene durch Initiativen wie Collectives for Change, Swinging
Europe etc. änderte sich seine Sichtweise auf die Tanzszene und er ist sehr
interessiert daran, sich mit der Geschichte sowie den Werten der Kultur zu
beschäftigen. Dies lässt er auch in seinen Unterricht einfließen und gibt sein
Know-How über die Kultur bestmöglich weiter. In seinem Unterricht
schafft er dafür kollektive Lernräume, um Improvisation zu ermöglichen, die
Kommunikation zu seinen Tanzpartner:innen aufzubauen und eine eigene
persönliche emotionale Note im Tanz auszudrücken. Seit September 2023
ist der Hep Cat Club in Augsburg sein lokales zu Hause und er entwickelt
dort die Swingtanz-Szene weiter. Die wichtigsten Aspekte sind ihm hierbei
Awareness, kulturelle Wertschätzung und Nachhaltigkeit.
Enzo Bio english
Enzo has been dancing Lindy Hop since 2016. From the very beginning he
was passionate about this dance and since then he has been unable to miss
almost any social dance in his surroundings. During the lockdown he got to
know the dance in a different way and also discovered solo jazz. With some
changes in the swing scene through initiatives such as Collectives for
Change, Swinging Europe etc. his perspective on the dance scene changed
and he is very interested in learning about the history and values of the
culture. He also incorporates this into his lessons and passes on his know-
how about the culture in the best possible way. In his lessons he creates
collective learning spaces to enable improvisation, build communication
with his dance partners and express his own personal emotional touch in
dance. The Hep Cat Club in Augsburg has been his local home since
September 2023 and he continues to develop the swing dance scene there.
The most important aspects for him are awareness, cultural appreciation
and sustainability
Course description:
It’s time for some Authentic jazz. We’ll explore the history of the charleston and some authentic Jazz steps by dancing it in different styles. We also want to get a deeper understanding of the Black-American culture of this dance and explore jam-concepts, performative parts, and a lot of improvisation by expressing your own individuality into the dance!

Erin Hunter Jennings always loved music, jumping and flying through air as a child, which drew her to singing, piano, flute, gymnastics, and dancing (most often in the family basement with her two sisters). She continued through college at Bucknell University before returning to her home state of Maryland. After being cast and playing Val in a NY/Baltimore production of A Chorus Line, Erin made her own move to the “Big Apple” where she continued dance studies at studios, NYU and as an ensemble member on scholarship at Steps. Since then, Erin has performed in many dance, theater and film productions in NYC and throughout the US and Europe, performing such roles as Kristine in the tour of A Chorus Line, Graziella in West Side Story at Teatro ala Scala, & Louise in Westchester Broadway’s Carousel. She performed with companies: Pilobolus, and those led by Olsi Gjeci (Sublime) Germaul Barnes (ViewsicEx), Erica Essner, Gaspard Louis & for many years with Caron Eule(CEule Dance) and Shadowbox Theatre. Her choreography, presented on various stages and venues, has been noted in the NYTimes.
Currently, Erin is dancing with the Erick Hawkins Dance Company and co-directs the Hudson Valley based Putnam County Dance project, company in residence at Arts on the Lake in Kent, NY. Movement and its ability to create connection continues to inspire Erin in teaching dance and yoga, in choreography, and contact improvisation. Erin is a member of the Actor’s Equity Association and a graduate of Bucknell (B.A. Psychology) and New York Universities (MA Dance/Ed). She lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband, two children, schnoodle and kitty. West Side Story is a modern day “Romeo and Juliet” musical recently revived on Broadway and in produced on film with direction by Steven Spielberg. Class will include a warmup with technique before learning material from the original and iconic Jerome Robbins choreography with Erin Hunter, who played Graziella in the first musical production at Teatro alla Scala.

Ich bin Chiara Ferrarini, 22 Jahre alt, und habe bereits zwei Ausbildungen erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Zum einen als Tanzpädagogin mit Schwerpunkt auf Kulturmanagement und zum anderen als Musicaldarstellerin in Rom. Meine Bühnenerfahrungen reichen bis zu renommierten Veranstaltungsorten wie dem Teatro dell’Opera in Rom.
In meinen Tanzstunden verbinde ich Technik, Disziplin und vor allem Spaß. Als offene und familiäre Person lege ich großen Wert darauf, eine intensive und positive Verbindung zu meinen Schülern aufzubauen, damit sich jeder wohl fühlen kann.

Musical Theater & Burlesque im neuen Stil verschmelzen Tanz, Gesang, Sinnlichkeit und Showdance zu einer faszinierenden Unterhaltungssymbiose. Dieser Stil setzt auf die Betonung von Individualität und Selbstausdruck, was sich in einer freien Interpretation der Choreografien manifestiert und so einen facettenreichen, einzigartigen Stil hervorbringt.

Dennis Catalano, ein deutscher Tänzer und Choreograf mit italienischen Wurzeln, entdeckte bereits im Alter von 6 Jahren seine Leidenschaft für das Tanzen. Seine tänzerische Reise begann im Karnevalistischen Tanzsport, wo er nicht nur klassische und Jazz-Grundlagen erlernte, sondern auch im Bereich Partnering und Akrobatik ausgebildet wurde.
In den folgenden Jahren hatte er viele erfolgreiche Auftritte und Wettbewerbsjahre.
Später richtete Dennis seinen Fokus vermehrt auf Stile wie Hip-Hop, in denen er beeindruckende Erfolge erzielte.
Mit seiner Crew „TheMessengers“ wurde er zweimal deutscher Meister bei HipHop International und vertrat Deutschland bei den World Hip Hop Dance Championships in Las Vegas und Phoenix (USA).
Dennis entwickelte sich national und international in verschiedenen Tanzstilen weiter und trainierte unter anderem in Italien, London und Los Angeles. Auch heute ist er immer noch dabei, sich national sowie international fortzubilden.
Besonders stark ist Dennis Catalano in den Bereichen Jazz-Funk/Commercial, Hip-Hop und Contemporary.
Neben seiner Arbeit als Tanzlehrer für Kurse und Workshops ist er mittlerweile auch ein erfolgreicher Trainer und Choreograf für Wettbewerbsteams, Duos und Solisten.
Dabei konnte er zahlreiche deutsche und europäische Meistertitel sammeln.
Nach seiner Teilnahme als Finalist im Team von „Nikeata Thompson“ bei der Pro 7 Tanzshow „Masters Of Dance“ im Jahr 2019 arbeitet Dennis nun auch als kommerzieller Tänzer für verschiedene Marken, Fernsehshows, Musikvideos und Künstler.

Der Begriff „Commercial Dance“ wurde ursprünglich verwendet, um Tanzstile zu beschreiben, die in kommerziellen Musikvideos, Fernsehshows, Werbespots und Bühnenaufführungen verwendet wurden.
Commercial Dance ist oft energiegeladen, dynamisch und hat eine starke Betonung auf Choreografie und Ausdruck. Die Bewegungen sind oft scharf, präzise und synchronisiert.
Commercial Dance ist ein vielseitiger Stil, der sich weiterentwickelt und verschiedene Einflüsse aufnimmt. Letztendlich geht es darum, mit Musik, Bewegung und Ausdruck eine mitreißende Performance zu schaffen, die sowohl unterhaltend als auch künstlerisch anspruchsvoll ist.
