Pilar Murube was born in Seville, Spain, and completed her ballet
training at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart before moving in a
contemporary direction as a dancer with Marco Santi.
She is a freelance dancer, assistant and choreographer,and has worked for
companies including the Marco Santi Dance Ensemble, the Nina
Kurzeja Company and Co-Laps.
Since 2014 she has worked primarily as a teacher of classical ballet and contemporary dance
for children, adults and professional and amateur dancers.
She is a faculty member at the prestigious John Cranko School in Stuttgart. Additionally, she serves as a faculty member for the International Contemporary Masters program in association with the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) in the USA.
